outlet stores near Florence

Is there a way to get to the outlet stores without renting a car? Is it worth renting a car just to get to them? We will be there in a week.

Hi Susan,

I found this link on the B&B website where I'll be staying in May. Thought you might have some interest. It's a tour of sorts and it's 19 euros pp to take you there.

An article "Mall Minded" on travel.guardian.co.uk/saturdaysection/story/0,8922,1085124/00.html has detail info.

Hello Susan, My favorite name--having beem married to one for 44 years.
Go to www.outlet-firenze.com for directions and a link to the bus service. We were there in Oct. last year and I must admit I saw it as a waste of time. But I must also admit I just do not get that whole designer label for triple prices scenario.

Thanks so much everyone! Think I will take the bus to the mall. Will post a report when I return.

Hi Susan,

My two friends and I are traveling to Italy in July, and while in Rome we are taking a day trip to Florence to shop the outlets...specifically Prada and The Mall. I was just wondering how your trip went. Any info is greatly appreciated!!!!
