Outlander Tour - Scotland

I have read Diana Gabaldon book series on "Outlander" and noticed that there is a tour. I have a trip planned in May for Edinburgh, Scotland and would like some information on the tour. Has anyone taken this tour, if so, which company. Was it worth taking?

You know it's not real, right?

(sorry; I just hate the whole thing) Anyway, there are a a heap of them. Not that I've done or am likely to do any, but you might like to specify which.

In the UK the book is known as Cross Stitch - no-one will have heard of Outlander.

Just google "Outlander tours " and you will get many hits. Or go to diana gabaldon's website and she mentions a couple too.

I would assume that NOW they have heard of "Outlander" since there is a huge Starz tv production going on with the filming in Scotland. I have a tour going this coming May and Sept 2015 http://www.celtictime.com/pages/Outlander.php

Maybe. It's had some coverage in the media, but the series is not being shown on TV in Scotland (or anywhere else in the British Isles).

1) Starz is a US TV channel
2) Filming for various shows occurs all the time in Scotland
3) It hasn't been picked up by any UK TV channel

Sheila, what part does she play?

Or, rather, what scene(s) does she appear in?
