Hi fpsoley, I noticed your posts have very general titles. You may get better responses if you post the location and specifics. for example, repost this question as:
Does anyone know what days and hours the outdoor markets are open in florence, naples, and rome?

(I posted this recommendation on the other question that went unanswered.)

this is something you should be able to find out upon arrival by asking around... at your hotel front desk, the train station, tourist office, wherever.

The Rialto market in Venice is open on every day but Sunday, I THINK. On Sunday there is a sort of flea market there.

Florence has various markets on various days. Are you looking for food, or antiques/flea markets?

In Rome, I like the little antiques/books/print market at Piazza Fontanella Borghese. Also there is monthly antiques market along the colonnades near the Tevere. Can't be more exact, sorry.
