Out plans Nov 19-28
An upcoming trip that I will report on when concluded.

Nov 19th arrive CDG mid-morning, pick up car, drive to Brugges, spend 2 nights. Depart Brugge driving into Normandy and Brittany for 2 nights. General sight seeing and hitting the biggies.

Then on Thursday into the Loire Valley to Amboise, spending 2 nights and exploring the area. Depart Amboise driving to Versailles via Chartes, turning the car in at Versailles train station.

Train or RER to Paris for 3 nights staying in 7th. Leisurely stay in Paris (been there many times so don't have to rush to see everything). Return home at noon on Nov. 28th.

First time to Brugges (been to Brussels) and first time to the other areas (except Versailles and Paris) as well. Hoping for decent weather (sure don't expect perfect) with not too much rain.

Full report will be posted later.

Wow. I arrive at CDG Nov 19th as well. I have never been to France and am so excited I can barely contain myself. My return flight is on Nov 27th. I want to head south to Monte Carlo after a couple days in France. Is the weather normally rainy around this time of year? Any feedback regarding Paris would be greatly apprieciated.

Marika
Expect they will be Rouen, Honfleur, Le Mont-Saint-Michel, Bayeux for the tapestry, maybe St. Malo. All depends on time. Whatever we have time for we will do. We have to be in Amboise by Thursday evening to check into our already reserved hotel. We plan to stay loose on what we see and how long we spend at each site. We do have Le Mont-Saint-Michel down as a must see, and I really want to see the tapestry. Since I haven't done this part of France before I don't know if we have enough time or not. We will find out. We also don't have any hotels booked for this portion - we will just get them as we go. Should be fun.

Lori
Sorry for the partial post above. What airline you flying? Maybe we will see you at CDG. I am sure we will be the only Americans in the airport, right. You are going to love France. It is a wonderful place. If I see you at CDG I will say hi!
