Does you think we should shave a day off Florence and Amalfi coast and go to Lake Como for a few days? What is there to do in Lake Como? Where should we go in the Amalfi Coast? Just Capri, or Positano too?
Thank you in advance for thoughts, suggestions.

When you go to the Amafi coast..which is a MUST! Hire a private driver...You can reach Nello at [email protected] He is a wonderful guide and I can promise that he will make your vacation! Tell him Karen sent you!

Hi J,

I think you have a very nice itinerary.

You might want to take a daytrip to Orvieto from Rome.

>Where should we go in the Amalfi Coast? Just Capri, or Positano too?<

Capri is not the AC. It is its own place.

You might find the AC portion of my trip report helpful.

Depending on how much luggage you have, you might want to hire a driver to take you from the Naples train station to your hotel and back.

Nice itinerary. I would probably cut out one day in Florence and add it to Rome.

Hi Jenni

I think your trips sounds very good. I would take a day off Florence and add it to Venice. I would not try to do the lakes on this trip, unless you are willing to skip the Amalfi Coast and do lakes instead.

Buon viaggio!

I agree with both posters above about shaving a day off Florence. My preference would be to add it to Rome, but I could easily see adding it to Venice as well.
Also, I would shave a day off the Amalfi Coast to add to Venice. We stayed there four nights, and wished we had spent another in Venice instead [where we also spent only three nights].
