Our trip is finally here, thanks for all the answer to my questions!
 

On Sun, my mother & I are off to 6 nights in London and 5 nights in Paris. I really appreciate all the information I've received here. Most of my questions have been about London, since my husband & I were in Paris last Sept, but I've been reading all the recent posts about Paris as well, and have learned so much about both places. Thanks to everyone who answered my questions. I'll report back after the trip!

Hope you and your mom enjoy these two wonderful cities as much as we have on our trips. We'll be in London in December and I'm looking forward to it.

Enjoy London! We are having very nice weather at the moment (obviously subject to change). But overall there is a nice feeling in the air.
