Hi Janisj - we stayed in Burford in 2009 mostly because of your wonderful recommendations and LOVED it! We rented the Corner Cottage from Manor Cottages for a week in May. It is situated perfectly overlooking Burford. There is a lovely path into town and we could hear the church bells when they rang. I will be visiting the UK again this fall with my mother and wish we could have stayed at the same cottage but it wasn't available (most places are booked and we will only be staying two nights) so we will stay in Broadway instead this time.
