our journey from Venice to Prague

HI everyone!

I'm a student, so as you may guess, quite poor.. I'm trying to get from Venice to Prague during my spring break, now this german rail line is costing us a bundle, but we're sort of in a rut, because we can't refund our tickets from prague to london, so we absolutely have to make it to prague to go back home...
does anyone know of any really cheap airline, even if it's local in venice or something that we could use to get to prague? also, know of any that allow one way trips, because we can't go back to venice..
I really hope someone has some advice. (If I was older and had a job..perhaps I would not be so desperate to find alternatives :\ Thanks for your time!

See www.whichbudget.com - - I think there is some kind of service between Italy and Prague.

Best wishes,

Rex

thanks Rex,
tried it, but doesn't have venice to prague, did find rome to prague, so i guess we'll try training it back to rome and then going to prague from there? could work..!
you were of great help!

At least on some occasions/under certain circumstances, you can train from Venice to Rome for only 15 euro, I think... see various posts by "GAC" for more info.

Alitalia and CSA fly Venice-Prague.

The other airline on this route is Fischer Air - a Cz charter company:

Otherwise ... via Rome might be a cheaper option.

Hope this helps ...

If you have a 3 or 4 people it may be worth looking into renting a car. you will have to pay a dropoff premium because you are leaving italy but it still may be easier an more economical to try this.
