Ottolenghi walk-ins?

I'm in London Thursday evening through Sunday early afternoon, and eating at Ottolenghi was on my list - however, didn't think through needing to have reservations (my fault!). Now they're booked up for dinner every night except for very late tomorrow. Do they take or reserve spaces for walk-ins? We have plans Friday afternoon and evening so would likely be trying for dinner Saturday, which I know is... unlikely!

Not IME -- but there may be cancelations.

Wow, delicious looking pictures! If the weather should cooperate, a take-away picnic?

Have you thought of booking for lunch?

Eat early at the bar?

There are so many good restaurants on London, I would never bother to wait.

Globally famous faves like Ottolenghi really aren't that special these days.

But it'd help if people pointing that out suggested alternatives.

Which us provincials aren't always best able to do

Thanks for the voice of experience, janisj! Definitely may call and ask about cancellations.

I may go solo for breakfast on Friday while my travel companions have other plans, or we may do Sunday brunch. And takeaway is a great idea if the weather cooperates!

And yes - if anyone has any other, semi-similar (or not) suggestions, especially for somewhere delicious and not ridiculously expensive (under 20-25 pounds per person without drinks) we could eat on Saturday night without too much trouble, that would be much appreciated. We're staying at a flat near St Pancras/Coram's Fields, but who knows where we'll be by that evening. We ate at Borough Market food stalls, wagamama, and Dishoom last weekend (plus a subpar Sunday roast) before flying to Seville; we're back in London starting tomorrow through Sunday lunch. We're doing the Mad Hatter tea at the Sanderson Friday afternoon before seeing An American in Paris, so Friday is basically sorted.

Specifically, if anyone knows of a great Sunday roast in the Bloomsbury/Kings Cross area, that would be fantastic. Our flat is near St Pancras and we need to be close by since we'll need to get our bags and head to the airport in the early afternoon. (We had hoped to eat at the Laughing Gravy near Waterloo last weekend but realized too late that it was Mothering Day; I imagine the nice man who answered their phone laughed after he hung up when I called to ask if they had any same day openings!)

Have you tried his 4 restaurants including Nopi. Notting hill has great take away as well.

Yes, northie, I looked at all of the branches (including Nopi) for reservations, but sadly no luck! Takeaway might work well - thanks for the tip!
