Had lunch with Ahmet and his wife Eser in Istanbul. He has had a trying few years with his health but is better now. He says he has been banned from Fodor's but does not know the reason. In any case he says hi!

I'm sure he has not been banned. It is probably just that he can't log on for some reason. Perhaps you could contact the moderators on his behalf and they can figure it out.

Thanks for the update on OC mjs, I wondered why we didn’t see him anymore, hope his health improves and he’s able to log back on Fodors.
