OT - Online shopping - France

Since many of the readers/posters on this forum are highly experienced with world commerce, I have a question that I'm hoping someone can answer.

Does anyone know a website where I can purchase a baby gift for friends living in Paris. Sure I can run out to the store here in the US, buy something, package it up and mail it, but there has to be a way that I can buy from a French "E-tailer" and have it delivered.

Thanks.

Hi,
You could try Du Pareil au Même, www.dpam.fr, which is a popular French clothing store that lets you buy online.
Or Petit Bateau - www.petitbateau.com - it looks like the US website lets you buy online too (though not sure if they would deliver to France).

Or have a look at La Redoute (www.laredoute.fr) or 3 Suisses (www.3suisses.fr), the two main clothing catalogues in France.

hanl,

Thanks. I used dpam. It was perfect!

Great!
I love their shops (even though I don't have kids) as the clothes are always so bright and colourful. I'm always finding excuses to buy gifts for friends' babies...
