Osteria St Ana ..anyone ever eat here ?

I've read some reviews of Osteria St Ana and it's sounds like a good place to eat. Has anybody ever had an experience either good or bad there ?

Thanks

Or do you mean Ristorante Sant'Anna near Largo Argentina in Rome?

There's at least one review at www.slowtrav.com, which may be one of the ones you've read.

Osteria St Ana .....I have the webpage I just figured maybe someone on these boards may have eaten there. So far I'm wrong.

Yes, pretty smart because there is only an Europe forum (there's no italy forum ) so it's not easy to locate a restaurant only by its name..europe it's not so small !

If you hit "Talk " then click down to "italy" ---your in the italy forum

I am sure there is only 1 Osteria St Ana all over Italy.

Or is it just that there is only 1 town in Italy?

Or is there an "Italy" forum on Fodor's?

Or why are there so many Paris questions to the left if there is a tlak forum for each country?

No, you are not. You will have searched the Europe forum for posts that are indexed for Italy.

Like many others here, my interests in European travel include, but are not confined to, Italy, so I hardly ever search for discussion that is limited to one country.

You gave your post an insufficient header; ekscrunchy drew attention to it in what I thought a gentle enough way; you got snippy. Lighten up.

"I'm guessing ITALY. ??????? "

If you call that nice ...you have problems ..if you didn't know about the resturant why type something at all ????

As we say in ireland, pdm68, cop yourself on. You got things wrong; it was drawn to your attention (yes, gently enough), and now you're fighting with everybody.

I'm still happy and, so far as I can judge, problem-free.

hi pdm,

not wanting to snipe, but if you'd got a web-site, why not post it with your query so that the rest of us would have the best possible chance of helping you?

most fodorites are helpful folks [like ek - she's one of the good guys] but you need to help us to help you.

why don't we all start again? - which osteria st. ana did you mean?

regards, ann

PDM I am sorry if my response sounded sarcastic. I did not mean to be offensive.

pdm68 Apr 25th, 2008 11:13 AM

Sorry for the responses ----here is the website :

No, that is *not* the Web site of the Osteria St. Ana.

This is:

Thank you !!! Has anyone eaten there still ? I've only read about it from one place so far ...when I find the link for the review I will post .
