Oslo vs. Bergen

Hi there,

I'm planning a quick trip to Oslo on May 24 - 27 (too short!) and know there are so many great things there to do (sculpture garden, Viking ships, castles, nightlife), but I am really tempted to squeeze in a trip on the Flam to Bergen - does anyone know if 24 hours for this side trip is enough to Bergen justice? Or should we just focus on Oslo?

Thanks in advance for any opinions on Bergen and Oslo!

You cannot do both Flåm railway and Bergen in 24 hours ! Early and late flights will enable you to see some of Bergen. You shall have to check timetables if you want to do the Flåm rail, it will only be down and up from Myrdal. if you arrive in Oslo midday and leave midday you shall only have two and a half day effective, stay Oslo, even if I'd like to recommend Bergen
