Dear Hausfrau,
Thanks for the great summary of Hotel Uhrerhof. I'm taking your advise!! Is there hiking close by or would I have to drive to get to trailheads? Is room 101 a Superior Room or a Comfort Room?

I am pretty sure our room was a Superior room.
As for hiking, it may be possible to take a hike up the valley from the Uhrerhof (you would have to ask the hotel directly) but you really should drive to one of the many lifts or cable cars in the area and get up high for the most spectacular terrain.
