ornaments in Edinburgh

Ok, I have reasearched where to get Christmas ornaments in London. Does anyone know where to get ornaments in Edinburgh? I will assume that the castle probably has a gift shop that I may find one at. Any other ideas for a September trip?
Just a little note to tack on, in regards to London ornament hunting, I can find these at all the tourist sites, as well as Harrod's, right?

Jenner's is the Harrod's equivalent in Edinburgh. September's gey early tho'

We returned last month from trip including Edinburgh ~ my wife always buys Christmas ornaments.

When you are leaving Holyroodhouse walking the Royal Mile towards Edinburgh Castle, there will be a nice Christmas shop on the right. I have forgotten exact number but it is within a few blocks of Holyroodhouse.

Good shopping.

On the Royal Mile, there are two Christmas shops; just look for them.

In Sept the only places you are likely to find any are at the two shops mnc and phillip mention. One of those shops is really wonderful (I have seen both but have only been in one of them)

But since they are both on the Royal Mile right in the center of the main tourist area - you won't even have to make a special trip. Start at the castle end and work your way down the Royal Mile towards Holyrood (much easier than doing it up hill all the way)
