Orly

I have a question regarding Orly airport -- I am thinking of flying l'avion into that airport. I want to take a train to belgium from there. is there a train station there? or where would it be relative to there.

Hi Orly is not diretly on any main line train service, you would need to get into Paris and to gare Du Nord, where you can take the train to Brussels. this link should help http://www.discoverfrance.net/France...s_Paris2.shtml

The easiest public transport would be

Orlybus to Denfert-Rochereau 6,00€
RER B to Gare du Nord 1,40€ (might be included in Orlybus)

If you want to save a little time--for a higher fare--take the Orlyval driverless shuttle train from Orly to the Antony RER station and the RER B from there to Gare du Nord. Fare: 9.10 EUR.

Save time? I think not.

The Orlybus goes from Orly West to Denfert-Rochereau in 14 minutes.

OrlyVal takes 7 to Antony, plus RER B to D-R is 11, and that doesn't even account for the transfer at Antony.

Robespierre,

Okay. I should have done my homework more thoroughly. I assumed that a non-stop train would be significantly faster than a bus. But with the time comparisons you gave, I'm with you. Take the Orlybus.
