LES BALNEADES (ORLEANS) ARNAQUE

C'est cher et le service est très mauvais. Le soi-disant sauna est une plaisanterie à l'hygiène plus que douteuse (les gens sont entassés, à touche touche malgré la sueur et les odeurs, l'espace est minuscule, le hamam inexistant, aucun espace de détente, lumière plate, pas de changement de serviettes, promiscuité des couchettes digne d'un wagon de 3ème classe, bar minuscule, boissons dignes d'une station service d'autoroute, etc. C'est un véritable scandale de payer ce prix pour un service aussi médiocre.
C'est de la pure ARNAQUE. C'est inadmissible.

for non-French speaking folks this is a kind of day spa - a swimming pool plus hydro therapies with water currents, massage, all in a nice setting - near La Source, south of Orleans.

I have been going to Orleans for 35 years in a row and often staying lengthy periods and have never before heard of this dump - my friend here from Orleans described it to me and said she went there a few years back and it was not so bad as portrayed - yet was nothing to write home about either.

Seems to be about 39 euro for a day visit and about 139 euro for the day plus a night's stay from the above official website.
