Orkney Italian Chapel theft

In the far distance part of the Orkney Islands is chapel built by Italian WW2 prisoners. Not a great masterpiece but a symbol of how even in terrible times people can behave with civilisation.

Guess what, some monkey has taken part of the memorial,

What a shame. I've visited the Italian Chapel - it is VERY ornately painted. While I was there a small wedding was being officiated.

Such a shame. I hope they are found. It's a lovely chapel, very unique.
