Thanks for the info jen v!! I was considering this apartment since it had 2 bedrooms and a rooftop terrace, but I have changed my mind based on your report. A clean place to stay is very important to me and just the thought of the dirty cover....YUCK!!!!

I haven't been looking around the Spanish Steps, but I guess I should. I'm having a hard time finding a 2 br/ 2 ba apartment in the Pantheon area!

Hi Jayne, glad it helped. Having stayed in many areas of Rome on several trips, I would place Pantheon as #1, however, it is hard to find something affordable in that area. This was the first time I stayed in CDF and it just wasn't my style. My #2 area is Spanish Steps, it is a nice area with alot of options and I think you should consider it.
