Opinion on two London apartments

We will be in London in April/May 2013 and are looking for central lodging and like the two apartments below. My son and daughter are in there 20's and enjoy live music so I thought the first flat would be good all around.

Any advice/recommendation would be very much appreciated.

Here is the correct link for the 2nd one

I personally would find the location of Rosary Garden much more convenient.

Thsnk you Janisj!

I looked at some flats on Rosary Gardens for my March 2013 trip. I like that area better myself. It's closest tube station has access to 3 lines instead of the 1 at Kensington (Olympia).

I hate to sound like a broken record - I keep telling folks about this place on this forum, BUT, since you will be staying nearby and your 20-something son & daughter like live music, check out The Troubadour Club (very near the West Brompton tube station near both the flats you were looking at). They have a live music venue as well as a pub-like cafe.

Thank you dorfan2. I am quite the novice on fodors and to London.

dorfan: "<i>It's closest tube station has access to 3 lines instead of the 1 at Kensington (Olympia).</i>"

The Olympia tube station has next to no service. From the location of the first flat they would instead be using Holland Park station (which is also only on one line but a different one), or buses.

I agree with Janisj as to location. Both apartments look quite decent.

Thank you very much!

Do you have any feedback about this? I would like to know as a friend is asking for suggestions at this area too. Thanks!

If number 1 (Holland Park) is where they've put their map marker, it is also on a fairly busy and not very attractive traffic route. They may have meant Elsham Road, which would be a much nicer prospect, but even so, it remains inconvenient for public transport.
