Open Jaw Ticket to Eastern Europe - Is this a good price?
Going to Eastern Europe next month (I know, kinda last minute). I found open jaw tickets from SFO to Budapest, and out of Warsaw to SFO for $1021, with one layover each way. Is that a good price? Don't know if I should just buy now or wait for those last minute deals to come through.
Also, I'm trying to divide my time among Krakow, Budapest, Prague, and Vienna. How much time should I allot for each? I'm someone that can't stay somewhere for too long. I enjoy culturally rich cities, with interesting people and food. :) Thanks! |
I think that price is good, especially from the West coast. I have a hard time believing something better will come along in the next month. I wouldn't gamble on the last minute deals, that's never a sure thing.

Hi rp,
>....buy now or wait for those last minute deals to come through.< What last minute deals? I bought RT ATL/CDG tickets at $837. The price is now $1095. I haven't seen a last-minute deal since 2003. ((I)) |
I agree on the price being right.
You did not say how much time you have overall. I think 3 days each is a good rule of thumb though. Overnight trains are a nice time/money saver. |
That seems a very good price to me. Really good as there aren't a lot of cheap flights to those cities, and all the way from SFO -- I'd grab it.
