Opatija
 

i wanted to go there on my way to Rovinj but it was a madhouse when I drove through. It was a Sat. though and perfect weather. While the good weather continues I’m hoping that during the week it’s less crowded. I can go that we on my way to Slovenia. Does this make sense?

If you want to se Opatija and are willing to go out of the way to see it, no reason not to go if you want. No guarantees that it will be less crowded.

Opatija is always busier on weekends. I would park in town, walk Lungomare to Volosko and take the bus from there back to town.
