OOPS! Booked two Paris Hotels at same time. Please Help

Mother/Daughter7-mth. old Granddaughter traveling to France with only 6-week notice so I was unable to book the more popular Paris hotels on this forum.
I finally booked the St-Louis on Ile de la Cite because I Loved the Location.
My daughter got "caught" on Priceline.com and booked the Libertel Le Moulin (around the corner from the Moulin Rouge) for four nights-- unrefundable --at $75.00 a night.
The St-Louis in unrefundable for one night.
MY QUESTION -- Does anyone know the reputation of this hotel and area. From what I read this area is pretty wild and may not be great for women and baby.
I prefer the Ile de la Citi location but to save money, I would change hotels-- but that's a hassle too getting cabs, and soforth.
PLEASE ADVISE if you have knowledge of the area and any suggestions. Thanks for all the great help on this wonderful site.

I'd try to cancel the one near Le Moulin Rouge. Most definitely. Too far away from things and not really a great neighbourhood.
Good luck!

If she indeed got the Libertel through Priceline, it is a done deal. You can cancel but you will be charged (have already been charged) for the entire stay.

The Libertel Le Moulin is on Rue Fontaine in an area that would not be the most convenient for your group. Also be aware that hotel rooms in Paris are not like those here and the three of you could end up in a tiny room with one double bed. You may need two rooms for your family. For future reference, if she ever gets the idea to bid again, go to www.biddingfortravel.com. It will show you what hotels have been awarded in each area of Paris and you can be a little more informed prior to bidding. Good luck and I hope things work out. After all, you'll be in PARIS!!

Your sister is crazy for using Priceline and she got what she deserves.
