oohlalaparis apartment website

Has anyone ever dealt with this company? They have a website, oohlalaparis which has some nice apartments. They don't give any info about who they are.

It doesn't seem as though this is a familiar website. I'm looking for a nice apartment for 2 in the marais with a nice street view accessible to the metro. Any ideas?

Try www.vacationinparis.com.

opaldog: You might try maraisflat.com. I haven't personal experience with this property nor with the owners, but it looks interesting.

Strass: I have rented an apartment through vacationinparis.com for a week in October. Have you dealt with this agency in the past? Any comments, pro or con? Thanks!

Hi Croque,

We were considering renting an apartment for our upcoming trip to Paris, and would've gone through vacationinparis.com, but we decided to stay at a hotel instead. It did seem like a reputable company, and it has a great selection of apartments. I did have some email contact with an employee. I liked the fact that you're sent the key in the mail ahead of time--no need to pick it up in Paris, meet someone at the apartment, etc.

you might try http://www.bienvenueaparis.com/
they have two marais apartments, and got good reviews on this site a while back

Have used vacationinparis for a weeks stay this past Feb. We were very pleased with the accomodations, area, evertything. Sure beat staying in a hotel. Would definitely use them in the future.

Strass and Suspaul: thanks for the encouragement. Always good for the nerves to receive reassurance when dealing with a commit-your-resources-then-hope situation.

Of course, marriage is much the same sort of arrangement, isn't it? And how often are fleas soon found in the marital bed?

I believe I still have a few itchy spots from my first, though the second has provided a most soothing convalescence.
