Only you

Can anyone tell me the name of the hotel in Rome where the women stayed in the film 'Only you'?

Waiting to hear an answer with baited breath... a lot of times, you can get an answer on www.imdb.com from this page - - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110737/locations - - but ot in this case. Is it good? Might be something I'd like to see, considering that imdb says:

"The result is the best tourism advertisement Italy could have hoped for. It is a hugely enjoyable piece of romance and escapist enterainment first time through.

...

Watching it is like the Italian holiday you always dream of; or, if you've already been, how you wished your own holiday had gone. The main thing in all our minds on our recent trip to Italy was going to all the places where certain scenes happen. It was great fun.

Italy is indeed beautifully photographed by famed swedish Bergman collaborator Sven Nykvist."

You agree with these comments?

Best wishes,

It's probably a soundstage in Culver City. :o)

OR they filmed the "exteriors" in Prague (which stood in for Zurich in a recent movie, the Bourne Identity) and filmed the interiors in Culver City!

The hotel in Rome doesn't exist. It was indeed a movie set--however, don't know if it was in Culver City. The hotel in Positano, of course, is the beautiful Seraneuse (?spelling).

While skepticism is merited, the filming locations credits list only Pittsburgh, Positano (the Sirenuse), Rome and Venice. So, the set might have been elsewhere, or it may well have been an actual hotel in Rome.
