Only 2 months...
 

Your options are Annecy, Angers, or Paris. You only have 2 months and you must decide on one of these cities as your residence for the summer. Which would it be and why?

Paris, no contest. A historic/resort town like Annecy would not have enough interest for me to desire spending 8 weeks there.

You can always go visit the other places.

Paris. If you get bored, you can take a train anywhere, even a high speed train to Marseilles in not many hours or to another country. Lots of tours to places outside Paris. Flights everywhere with some cheap airlines.

The only problem is it's packed with people in summer, though many of the French go south in July and August.
