I had an horrific experience. In short:

1) I reserved a hotel with onetravel.com and this reservation was processed.
2) This reservation was then held due to payment issues. After a total of one hour on hold, this appeared resolved.
3) My reservation was confirmed, then rejected.
4) I never received a useful email reply, nor did anyone call me back as promised. Despite continual assurances that my business was valued, at no point over 3 days was I able to speak to a customer service representative in under 30 minutes.
5) Finally, after another 90 minutes on hold, I eventually learned that the hotel was full. As a final insult, I was hung up on when requesting detailed contact information with which to report the company to the BBB.

Look up onetravel at epinions.com. Several bad comments about their service.

I was tempted to purchase my airfare at onetravel, but eventually found a good deal direct from the airline. I rather pay a little more for something that is more reliable.

Well, it seems as though the bad experiences outweigh the good. If my mind wasn't completely made up before, it is now. Thanks for all of the replies, they have been very helpful.

I used them many times, I Was very pleased every time. The use to have a place called farebeater on their site which was GREAT! I haven't been able to find that for a few years now. off to Hungary in only 4 days! May 19th.

That is expected. People who have bad experiences are more likely to post about them than people who have good experiences.
