one-way to Germany

Can anyone tell me where to look on the internet to find a cheap one-way ticket to Germany from the eastern U.S.? I'm finding loads of cheap round-trip tickets, but their offers are only good if you buy the return ticket, too. So somebody point me in the right direction, ok? Thanks

You might try a consolidator, or maybe act as a courier (I've never really checked into the rules to know if a one-way is doable). There are many companies that do this - you're allowed carry-on only, because your "checked in luggage" is whatever the company is shipping. If r/t airfares are really cheap, buy a r/t ticket - no law says you must use the return.

While I haven't bid, I have noticed that www.skyauction.com has one-ways to Europe. If you get really desperate you might try that!

We have used Cheap tickets and last fall we used DER. Yes it is more expensive one way but we were going to be there for two months and round trip fares (specials) have to be used within a month. Both these bucket shops have web sites. We were very satisfied with both.

Many moons ago, when I was really out of money and never knew how long I'd be staying thither or hither, I used to take Icelandair. They had ONE WAY tickets. Good airline. Stops in Rejkjavik. Maybe they still have that service.
