one specialty perfume shop
I recall that there is one perfume shop that carries EVERYTHING...even perfumes you can no longer get in the USA. Does anyone remember the name of it? thank you (I'm looking for Lolita Lempicka in the refilling bottle if anyone knows where I can get that also.)
Thanks! |
Maybe Catherines?
|
Ooops! Forgot to mention that the perfume shop was in Paris, I think it was near the Rue de Rivoli...I think....
|
That's it, Catherines! thank you....

Sadly, Catherine's has gone out of business. I had to buy my perfume at Marinonard. For something really person try Annick Goutal.
Galleries Lafayette has a huge perfume section. |
Suzanne, I had not heard or read that-When?, Why?

I went there last October. The shop was empty and there was a sign that said it was our of business. I inquired at the hotel next door. (Jolly Lotti??)I was told the the couple who owned the shop had retired and decided to close it rather sell it, as they had no children to pass it on to. I got the impression that the space was being incorporated into the hotel.
First Samartine and now Catherine's. |
There is a small but unique perfum shop called Divine. It is close to Opera Garnier on rue Scribe. The last scent they sent to me in the mail was really great.

I am so sad to hear that Catherines closed. That is the only place I would go and buy perfume. I was planning on going back there when I arrive in May.
I know that Fanny was their daughter who worked there. Such a nice family! I will try the shop called Divine. Thanks for the tip! |
I am sad too! I was just there in July/2008. They did have children because their adult daughter did my makeup and she mentioned a sister. She was lovely and looked like a young Ines de la Fressange.
