One or two day cooking school in Provence

My wife would like to take a cooking lesson or two in Provence while there in late August and early september. Anyone been to one?

I have never taken one but I know she can at La Mirande the beautiful hotel near the pope's palace in Avignon.

I took one at Mas De Cornud in St. Remy. Mas De Cornud is a bed and breakfast, as well as a cooking school. I took an afternoon class, followed by dinner. It was wonderful. Go to www.mascornud.com

I've not been to this but a "foodie" friend who is a syndicated food writer knows Georgeann Brennan and recommends her cooking school.

Misspelled her name in above post:

However, when I went to site, it seems the cooking school in Provence is on sabbatical in 2006.

Lydie Marshall also gives courses. I really like her cookbook with Provençal recipes, and from that I imagine that being around her would be both instructive and fun.
