Best websites to select classical concerts and operas in Rome

Will be staying in Rome mid-September. Looking for good quality "What's on" website on Rome. Focus: classical concerts and operas - possibly church and/or outdoor concerts (although the latter usually take place in August I understand). Information on cultural websites in general most welcome too. There are hundreds of different websites I have noticed but have not yet found one that works for me.

Hi Elizabeth - The website for outdoor 'Estate Romana' concerts/events is:

http://www.estateromana.comune.roma.it/manifestazioni

Another one you may find useful is:
http://www.culturaroma.it

Hope this helps ...

Thanks for the tip jamierin, just booked a concert at Sant'Agnese in Agone, Music in Bernini's Rome for September 20! Booking online was a breeze and I have printed my ticket and saved the confirmation email to my travel folder. 23 days and counting down....

You might try activitybreaks.com. I contacted them recently for a Bocelli concert and got a swift response. They offered to put me on their list to notify.
