one more question . . .

Thanks to everyone who responded, any my apologies. I had tried a search before posting, and didn't come up with what I needed. I know it's a pain on these groups when the newbies ask the same ???? over & over. Anyway, my daughter has fallen in love with pix of an apt. offered by www.lodgis.com. Any experience there? Or should I just take the fact that no one mentioned it as my answer? Thanks again so much for your help.

Hi judyindenver! Welcome to the Fodor's boards. Just wanted to give you a couple of pieces of advice:
1) in order to get the best response to your query, it's a good idea to state what some of your question is in the title. Most people will likely skip any generic header such as "one more question" or "help", those types of things. Maybe if you titled it "Any experience with Lodgis.com?" you'd get more responses.
2) Going to www.lodgis.com will yield many photos and apartments (from 4 different locations, no less) and we can't tell which one you're talking about, y'know? So please help us out with the particular URL of the photos or apartment you're daughter is interested in.
3) IF that URL proves to be really long, you can go to tinyurl.com to shorten it.
4) I've never minded helping the newbies; after all, I was a newbie once, too. Some people here are cranky and believe everywhere should subscribe to the same set of rules, some people might be cranky because they've been caught on a bad day (I think we're all guilty of that). You have a huge fund of knowledge on these boards, with a great breadth and depth of info for all types of tastes. Keep plugging away, keep using the search function, and try to make your request as clear as possible.

Good luck in your searches and I hope your daughter has a great time in whatever city she's traveling to!! :)

I don't have any personal experience with that website or agency (not sure which it is, actually, may be an agency), but others have. I know I've read at least several posts on Fodors from folks who rented from them successfully. If you want to view prior posts on that topic, simply type lodgis into the search box.

Beatchick: Thanks for your gracious response. This board is set up a little differently than I'm used to.
I took your suggestion and re=posted my question with a better subject. My concern was about the agency, not the apt., so don't need to go there. Thanks again for taking the time.

Christina, Thank you as well. I tried Lodgis search, but just came up with info re specific apts & nothing about how the agency itself was. We'll see what happens now.

You're welcome, judyindenver. It's tough being a new person on any board and trying to figure out what the unspoken rules are (I'm *still* learning)! ;) Thanks for giving us another shot. Hopefully, you'll get some answers to your questions.
