I'm finishing the details of my itinerary, and with travel times and all, here's what I have, in order:

3 full days in Corfu, plus one evening
3.5 days in Chania, Crete
2.5 days Santorini
2.5 days Mykonos
2 days Athens

I have 1, maybe 2 extra days I could spend in Greece. Should I spend the extra day (or both) in Crete? This is for our honeymoon, any help would be great!!

2.5 days in Santorini or Mykonos doesn't sound very long, can you extend these times rather than introducing yet another place? It is your honeymoon, relax, chill out, get to know each other, not every island in Greece. That's what I would do anyway, Congrats by the way. Or just stay longer in Athens there is so much to see and do, don't rush things.

oops,sorry just reread your question and you were going to stay in one of the same places already, so yes just extend any one of the places already on your intinerary, I haven't been to Crete, but have stayed on the islands and then spent about 4 days in Athens, did a couple of days trip out of there to Delphi and one to hmmm somewhere with a difficult spelling!! sorry for not reading properly.

You might consider a trip to Delphi if you were to stay in Athens another day. It is a lovely side trip.

I have been to all those islands but Corfu, and you will have time to see most everything there and enjoy some beach time as well with that schedule- I would spend another day in or around Athens. May I suggest spending a night in Sounion to the south? there is a magnificent temple on the bluff overlooking the Aegean there with a very special small museum, nice beaches and a very quiet small beach resort, the Hotel Aegeon, with a fine waterfront restaurant- it is literally "the end of the road"! Very romantic also - a marvelous place to spend you last night in Greece!
