Great report, Susanna. Thanks for sharing your adventures. I'm curious about the aftermath of the car incident. Was it resolved to your satisfaction?

I'm still waiting on the accident. Sixt has sent me a form to fill out about what happened. I still need an itimized bill for the damages from them, and my cc statement showing I paid for the car with that card, but, they have only charged me for the rental so far on my card. I'll come back and update this as it progresses since I think others would use their cc if it turns out to be somewhat easy. When we rent a car for a whole month adding the insurance really raises the price quite a bit.

The simcard info is great! (We also have ATT and thought their plan wasn't very good) Does anyone know if simcards would be the way to go in other countries?
