One free day in Ravello?
We will be in Ravello week after next for a birthday celebration. Two of three days are totally planned (including a day trip to Capri) but we have one full day with no plans. Looking for recommendations on how to fill that day in Ravello and the surrounding areas. We will not have a car.

Using your guide book, after you seen all that interests you in Ravello, take a bus down the hill to Amalfi, use ferries and buses to visit the other towns on the Amalfi coast.
Ravello is my favourite in that area, lucky you to be staying there. |
I'm another fan of Ravello! It depends on your interests, of course, but I found plenty to keep me busy there for a day. Lke HappyTrvlr, I'd urge you to consult your guide book. (I found the Rough Guide particularly useful, but any decent guide book should cover the key sites of interest.) And if you're interested, consider walking from Ravello to Amalfi -- it could be hard on the knees, but the views are absolutely stunning.
