One day tour from Sorrento and back
 

We (Two people) are staying in Sorrento for three nights in May. 13-16 May. All travelling by public transport.
We want to see the Amalfi Coast, preferably from the sea. Does anybody know of a boat service or Ferry service that leaves from Sorrento and come back the same day?
If not, is there a bus tour service we can use to see the important towns?
We are not interested in Capri and Islands.
I tried the net but the services I found all need 7 persons to make it viable etc.
I hope this is enough information
We leave South Afica on the 8th of May but will be in Rome for a few days..

the Blue Cruise sounds fantstic! Have you had any feedback on the meals on board?

Sure I've seen a post from someone who hadn't been hugely impressed - but don't remember where, or if their judgment seemed at all reliable!

There again, if the alternative is to waste the limited time ashore in trying to get a quick bite and glass of something along with 150 others.....

Perhaps it's the day for taking along a picnic?

We stayed in Positano and went by boat to Sorrento and came back so you can go the other way-we enjoyed the day trip.
