One day in corfu
 

Cruise ship gives me just one (long) day in Corfu. Don't want to do ship excursion and won't have a car. Thought about hiking for a few hours on the Corfu trail, but can't figure out how to get to any part of it by public transportation. Where can I go by public transportation that will give me a chance to hike and see as much as possible.
