Hi there!

We are doing a somewhat lengthy trip:
London to [insert city here] to Heidelberg to the Chianti region of Italy

We've tossed a few places out, but I'm wondering what others might suggest. Just curious what the majority might recommend. We've never been anywhere other than London and Heidelberg, so we'll take your advice to heart! We have close to a week in each area.

Scotland? Paris? Something else? Happy to hear your thoughts!

Way too little information to give a meaningful response but travelforbeer's suggestion is not too bad as it provides a quick and efficient way to get to the mainland.

Visit some other places in Italy, or Southern Germany.

If I had a few days between London & Heidelberg, I would...

take a 3-4 day bike trip through the low lands of Northern France, Belgium & Holland.

Whether that would be of interest to you I don't know.
