olympic coliseum in rome

Does anyone have a recommendation for the easiest way to get from the Hilton at the Rome Airport to the Olympic Coliseum in Rome? Also, from the Coliseum how far is it into Rome itself, and recommended route to take? We will not have a car. Thanks

Do you mean the Olympic Stadium (Stadio Olimpico)? It is north of the center of Rome and is not served by any Metro line. You will have to make a series of connections.

From the airport, take a train to Roma Termini. From Roma Termini, take Metro line A following the directions to Ottaviano station. Then take the bus line 32 (Piazzale della Farnesina) north along Viale Angelico. This bus eventually reaches the stadium.

Personally, I would take a taxi or arrange a car service rather then make this lengthy, cumbersome trip with all these connections.

If you mean the ancient Roman Colosseum, then take a train to Roma Termini and then walk or go two stops on Metro line B to Colosseo.

In any case, please look at a map--consider Google Maps or another site that provides a satellite view--to assess the distances.

You need to clarify what you're talking about. There is no Olympic Colosseum in Rome. The Greeks had Olympics, not the Romans. The Romans created lion food out of Christians.
