It wasn't and isn't.

It doesn't even pretend to be. "it was time to...highlight some of the oldest libraries in existence" it says. "Here are ten of our favorites"

There's nothing wrong with "10 best smallest atolls with a swim up bar" lists. That's precisely what domeone's complied for libraries.

What's crap isn't the list of ten pretty libraries that are all well worth making a detour of at least 100 yards to see if you're in the neighbourhood.

It's IMDonere's believing that "ten of our favorites" is the same thing as "a compilation of the oldest (existing) libraries in the world"

Is English perhaps not this dunderhead's first language?
