Old topic--travel insurance

Jump to last reply

Just thought I'd tell a story here. My brother-in-law and nephew had planned a November trip to Cuba--something by BIL had long wanted to do.

They paid for the trip up front, but also bought travel insurance. Last Friday, my BIL unexpectedly died. They had purchased the type of insurance which reimburses for the cost of the trip, rather than the type which requires a later trip.

You never know.
