Oktoberfest - HELP, if possible, with apartment for rent
 

Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated. I posted several days back wanting help finding an apartment in Munich to rent during the first weekend of Oktoberfest. No one responded.

Here is the plan to date...

4 days / 3 nights in Rome - Sept 11 - 14 (early flight landing in Rome early on the 11th)
Night train to Turin - Sept 14th
3 days / 2 nights in Turin - Sept 15 - 18th
3 days / 3 nights in Munich - Sept 18 - 21st (midday flight home to the states)

I am traveling with my grown son (22) and we thought that we would blend with the culture and rent apartments. Great idea but not having an ounce of luck in Munich.

Have you tried www.muenchen.de for the city tourist office.
In case this link doesn't work for you, I started there and went to hotels and under hotels found other accomodations.

i've used rentals thru there several times and have had no problems. a couple of weeks ago, i booked a place in munich for a few days. i think there are some places still available. best of luck!
