Oktoberfest 2010
 

I will be in Munich for Oktobfest 2010 and am hoping for some hotel recommendations. I would like to stay closer vs further to the tents and would like to stay near the area of Marienplatz or the Hof Brau Haus!! I would like to keep the per night charge at 75-100 euro a night, with breakfast included. I know that most include their breakfasts....just want to make sure I get those hot rolls!! Thank you!!

I think price is very low for Oktoberfest...

We stayed at the Jedermann, which was very convenient to the festival grounds, and they had a very nice breakfast buffet. I would stay there again.

We'll be in Munich for only 3-4 days..so maybe we should plan to spend a bit more. What do you think is an average going rate??

I stayed at the Marriott Courtyard. It was about midway between Marienplatz and the Oktoberfest grounds.

The hotel where I have stayed for years increases their rates about 65%-75%. I think I paid about 170€ for at double at Hotelissimo Haberstock. 3* Located right across from the train station and we do walk about 6-7 blocks to the Oktoberfest grounds.
