OK, This Time I Will Just Title This ""**Help Seeking Language Boo-Boos Thread!**"

Can anyone help me locate a thread last seen about 6 weeks ago?
It was all about language mistakes.
For the last three days, I have tried, in various combos, to pull this up using the Title/ Subject Search.
Three things happen:
1-Nothing!
2-Search comes back ,stating nothing found.
3-Message comes on screen telling me it is unable to open Fodor's site.
I found this site very humorous, and would love to locate it by Sunday, for my father's 74th Birthday!
Thank you so much!
Nancy

Nancy or Jaime,
I have been trying for DAYS to figure out how to find a topic. I have put in key words from the body of the message. I have put in the Title. Nothing has worked when trying to find a specific post. What am I doing wrong??? Thanks!

Luigi,
It is not you.
I still am unable to pull this one up with a search.
But I found it going back just a little
(lucky me, not having to scroll back days!)
It is brought to the top.
You can't miss it.
Do you have a tale of your own to add?
Hope so.
Nancy

One possible clue might be: Are you "checking" the box below where it says "text search" and clicking on general interest when you enter key word(s) in the upper box? I've done this at times and it has helped me find what I was looking for.....Paul J

Please help me. I feel foolish and frustrated. I have also been trying to find this thread.. Today is my Dad's bithday and I would love to print this for him. If anyone can find and top the thread I would be so grateful. I searched exactly as instructed---I think? Thank you

just topped it...

Happy Birthday, linda's Dad!

Postscript: If this forum had an easier way to locate and direct readers to a specific (previous) posting by a unique identifier (timestamp), it would not be necessary to top (and repeat) information so tediously. This is my new crusade, and I am thinking about adding this postscript (when applicable) to every new reply I make here. If you agree with me, then please write to Danny Mangin or David Downing - - [email protected] - - and encourage them to move forward with this improvement (and any others they have up their sleeves) to this best-on-the-web travel forum!

Rex, Thank you very very much.. I am interested in your suggestion. I am printing this for further consideration when I am not on the dash. I can't believe I got the topper before leaving home. Thank you again, Rex
