Regarding credit and ATM cards, the last time we were in Amsterdam we had a devil of a time finding a cash machine which accepted "Plus" system ATM cards instead/as well as "Cirrus" cards. Anyone with recent experience on the ATM scene there?

We were in Amsterdam in Nov, 98 and had no problem finding Plus ATMs. <BR> <BR>I'll add that we adored Amsterdam, but we also went off season. I'm sure it can become a bit more busy and noisy in summer.

I had no trouble finding "plus" atms in the Singel/Flower Market area of A'dam in March 01. From what I could tell, though, they are not as numerous as they are in the central parts of Paris. <BR> <BR>This thread is awesome! Wish I'd had itr before our trip. We loved our brief foray to A'dam -- it was mostly for business, not chosen for tourist reasons -- but we've put it on our "revisit" list without question.
