oia vs. imerovigli?

i am trying to decide between oia and imerovigli to stay in a lux hotel. Any suggestions?

I did a great deal of research on this site and others and chose Oia for the view and the romance. I actually walked from Thira to Imerovigli on our trip to Santorini a few years back (only for the day since we were cruising). You can't go wrong with either location but at night, I don't think there are alot of dining options in Imerovigli.
Look for BrotherLeeLove's suggestions, his stuff was very helpful to me.
Of note: Oia lodgings are very expensive!

Not all lodgings in Oia are expensive. It really depends on what you want and the location. If you decide on Oia let me know what your budget is, if you want a kitchen, pool, etc. and when you'll be there. I'll try to help you find something in your price range.

Mind if I jump in here?
Brotherleelove, I'd love some suggestions for lodging in Oia.
My husband and I will be there mid-April for 2 or 3 nights. I'm thinking we won't need a pool as it will probably be too cool to swim.
I'm also guessing that lodging in Oia will be more expensive than Crete or Athens. We'd like a clean, safe place, doesn't have to be fancy. Maybe a place with a nice view? I'd like to keep it at abot $200.00 a night or less if that's possible.
Thanks
