Oia Hotel Suggestion needed

hi, i'm going to fly to Oia, Greece next month 10/25-10/29 from Athen. I need some suggestions for the hotel. My Budget is 80-100 euro/ night. I want a cave house with caldera view and also most importantly a private balacony. Any Suggestions? =)

Check Old Oia Houses, Delfini Hotel, Thea Studios, Oia Waves, Villa Kallisti, Casa Sofia, Lauda Hotel and VIP Suites.

You can check on www.tripadvisor.com for lots of reviews of Alexander's. Best: Taxi. Cheapest: Bus.

We were there in September and stayed at Atrina Houses. We loved it. http://www.atrinahouses.com/

Atrina is very nice but does not fit the specified €80-100 budget range.

We stayed in Oai about 3 weeks ago at Oia's Sunset which was 100 euros a night- no caldera view, but a handy & central location and very helpful hosts (Panos and Stavros)- a small pool- were upgraded to a full apt. for the same price as a studio. Highly recommend.

To name Oia's sunset a hotel that has nothing to do with the wonderful sunset of Oia, is totally misleading....
The hotel ( as good as it may be) is located few steps away from the square where the endstation of the bus is, and every association with sunset or caldera is totally misleading...

Many have booked this hotel in the past based on it's name, and were very disappointed afterwards.

Yet to be fair the sunset can be observed from that hotel during the later months of the year

We stayed at Old Oia Houses and were very pleased with our room, it had a private terrace and a caldera view. The rooms on the lower levels are quieter. Although there were throngs of people going to and from the sunset above us, we didn't see or hear any of it.

OP will be in Oia at the end of the month, which means that the whole island will be absolutely quiet...

Ready to Pack - We stayed in OIA the third week of September. I know everyone talks about the sunset, I agree it is a beautiful view. And...the island is also beautiful in the morning, midday, at dusk and at night. We did not watch every sunset. I loved the island at night will all of the lights around the caldera and off on neighboring islands. I loved it in the morning at sunrise. We did see a beautiful rainbow one late afternoon in the eastern sky over the island. You will have many beautiful sights and memories regardless of where the sun is in the sky. Enjoy!
