Oh, no! Another question about go-today.com hotels in London.
Really, I did a search first. But the hotels don't appear (except one) or have such a name, the search was worthless.
The hotels under consideration are (from cheapest):
Kings Hotel, 60-62 Queensborough Terrace
Central House, 39 Belgrave
Queens Park, 48 Queensborough Terrace
From the search, Queens Park is basic, clean, with small rooms. I have no problem with small rooms, I want a room that will have enough hot water to take a short shower. Of course, safety is a must and convienent to a tube station/attractions.
Any guidance?
Thanks!

My question is sinking because someone is obsessed with Ira.
Thanks for the suggestion mclaurie. I searched the site and only the Queens Park came up.
I'd appreciate any comments on any of the hotels.

I hate to see a good question sink because some idiot has a problem...
I'm sorry I'm not familiar with the hotels, but if you give us a nearby tube stop (Go-Today usually lists them under the hotel description) I can give you more regarding whether the location is good.

The Kings Hotel and Queens Park are near Kensington Park (I think the tube is Bayswater). The Central House is about 1/2 from Victoria Station.
I know none of them are top of the line, the price from go-today is very cheap.
All hotels state they are 'quiet' so I guess they are near busy areas. I can sleep through a marching band, but I can't give up a hot shower.
Thanks MelJ

In addition to TripAdvisor, www.hotel-london.co.uk has guest reviews of many hotels in London.

Thanks pdxgirl (work for a telecom? Phildelphia?, Phoenix?)
Only the Queens Park was listed and the reviewer wouldn't stay there again because of chaotic breakfast room.
The joys of trying to plan a vacation on the cheap.

I don't know those specific hotels but I stayed at the Apollo last March on a Go-today package. It's address was 64 Queensborough Terrace so it was right in that area. Don't remember seeing Kings Hotel though it must have been right next door. So can't speak to the specific hotels but the area is fine. Whole street is hotels or flats, very residential. Two tube stops right near by (5 minute walk) and Kensington Garden just half block away. Two streets over is Queensway which is a busy street with lots of stores and plenty of inexpensive places to eat. I would not stay ON Queensway as I'm sure it would be noisy, but Queensborough Terrace was fine. You are also only half a block from Bayswater and can catch a bus there if you want a change from the tube. I would definitly stay in that area again.

ncgrrl: I'm from Portland, OR (PDX).
We're going to London in March and have booked the Troy Hotel on hotel-london.co.uk. for 65GPB. All reviews for this hotel are good. Good luck with your planning!

Thanks everyone for your help. I'm looking for the May-June time frame. Go-today has package deals for that time.
Insanely cheap package deals. The airline and hotel are less than airline alone that I can find. I'm sure I'll get routed through Dallas-Ft. Worth or something worse.
I've checked the other options mentioned here and I'll look more into octopus travel when I get a chance.
All I want from a hotel is a safe, semi-quiet place to sleep that provides hot water for showers. I realize I won't get a super deluxe room with the package, but I don't want the dregs either.
