Decision made, B&B's it is. Thanks so much for all your informative and as always 'witty' replies.

Must say we nearly booked it, as I'm sure apart from the bathroom issue we would've enjoyed it.

Pros - independence, yummy homemade breakfast & lunches, a new experience & only unpacking once.

Cons - Bathroom, packing up each time we want to drive somewhere, bathroom, narrow roads & bathroom.

Thanks again.

Aussie, while you are traveling around by car, I am sure you will be checking out the camping facilities for your next adventure in Ireland. We love to camp (we pull a largish trailer here in the US) but our roads are much wider, but I can't see myself doing it in Ireland! Have a great trip!

Hi aussie - I'm thrilled for you. it's worth staying at B&Bs in Ireland if only for the breakfasts. We never had a dud in a whole fortnight there.

I'm sure you'll have a great time.
