Off-topic: is there a similar message board to this for users of the iPAQ or other similar mobile computing devices?
 

This doesn't have all that much to do with travel. But i got an iPAQ for Christmas, and I would like to find a message board something like this one where people talk about things you can use it for.<BR><BR>This board is so active, and obviously some of you all know computers and such.<BR><BR>Of course, anyone who knows about using their pocket PC or Palm Pilot or similar device while traveling to europe is welcome to contribute also.<BR><BR>Thanks in advance.

Got one for Christmas--ain't it cool!! I asked for it particularly to use for travel and even more particularly, maps.<BR>I have gotten a 128meg card. Have loaded pictures of grandchildren on it!<BR>I have a map of Aix on it for example that I can zoom in on center city, tap the menu for about 20 items such as hotels, tourist sites, car rental sites, etc. and the locations come up with an arrow.<BR>I am looking forward to it as a notebook to record things as we do them on trips. Also has a recorder for quick notes. Haven't gotten back to that.

How/where did you get the map?<BR>

Thanks tim. Though I must say I am more discouraged by looking at that board than I am encouraged. Lots of people with prolblems, and no one there to come to the rescue with help!<BR><BR>Nothing as good as this board!<BR>
